Three Broward boys basketball teams, Stranahan, University School and Westminster Academy, each will have an opportunity to win back-to-back state tiles after advancing to Thursday’s Regional Quarterfinals.

Former state champions from recent years Wellington, Dillard, Dwyer, Grandview Prep have also advanced in their bid to add another title. Winners will advance to the regional semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 25

Regional quarterfinal games are set for Thursday at 7 p.m. The State Tournament will be held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland on Mar. 4-7.

Class 7A: Palm Beach Lakes (12-10) at Forest Hill (25-2): Wellington (21-6) at Taravella (16-5); Deerfield Beach (15-7) at Park Vista (19-6); Santaluces (16-7) at Dwyer (22-4); Dr. Krop (16-4) at Miramar (19-6); Columbus (15-11) at Western  (16-7).

Class 6A: South Miami (25-4) at McArthur (15-14); Fort Lauderdale (19-7) at Martin County (22-3); North Miami (15-6) at Dillard (20-7).

Class 5A: American Heritage (12-10) at Northeast (20-6); Pembroke Pines Charter (22-2) at Miami Northwestern (12-10); Boyd Anderson (16-11) at Miami Norland (18-9).

Class 4A: Mater Lakes (16-11) at University School (18-6); Stranahan (19-9) at Miami Pace (12-15); North Broward Prep (18-10) at Pine Crest (19-6); Hallandale (17-10) at Gulliver Prep (21-6).

Class 3A: Somerset Prep (9-12) at Santa Fe Catholic (25-2); Calvary Christian (20-7) at Holy Trinity Episcopal (18-9); Sagemont (19-8) at St. Andrew’s (21-5); Cardinal Newman (14-10) at Westminster Academy (19-8).

Class 2A: Village Academy (13-9) at Lake Worth Christian (17-7); Avant Garde Academy (19-3) at Grandview Prep (18-7).

Class 1A: Pahokee (12-7) at Hawthorne (21-3).
