Stranahan and University School met Tuesday in a Class 4A regional semifinal. Only the winner would have the opportunity to repeat as a state champion,

Stranahan (21-9), who won its first state title in school history last season, will play at Gulliver Prep (23-6) in a regional final on Friday.

The Dragons were led by Chayse Culpepper with 18 points, while Dave Herard added 15 points.

Jett Howard led University with 22 points.
